Best Dressed Hip Hop Artists

4. Kid Cudi

He's always been the man, we're just waiting on more music.

3. Big Sean

Big Sean owns the jewelry game right now; he's got the Ambush Pow, Jesus pieces, lion pendants, a Rolex ring, and Presidential Rolex(s), meaning plural, meaning thousands of dollars worth of watches. But hey, you can't be mad, G.O.O.D Music is feeding him.

2. Pharrell

Pharrell is one of those people that is affiliated with many brands on in a low-key way (Bape, BBC). But over the years we've seen him experiment with many different styles and personas. From the nerd, to skateboarder, and now just the regular guy.

1. Kanye West

Yeezy won....Again.

REM - Young KJ (Hosted by DJ Grady)

This is a well put together mixtape, and it's definitely OFFICIAL. From tracks like "Kinfolk", "Dopa", "New Age" to "Northview Drive" this mixtape proves itself. Even I didn't know Young KJ was this good of a rapper. There are some pretty good head-bobbing instrumentals (pause), and good flow to cover em. KJ is reppin' his city, and doing it well. Be sure to download HERE, and hashtag #YoungKJ, #REM, #TheTrueAmazing on all the social networks. Show him some love on twitter @KJInDaBuilding.

Hi Skool ChronicKills - Writers Block

Who is Writers Block is the slogan for the groups mixtape, Hi Skool ChronicKills. Writers Block is a super talented HIP HOP (yes I said HIP HOP) group, containing 3 dope lyrical MC's.  Haslyn Damani Parris Jr. (18) known by many as "Mani" or his stage name "MR.Y.U.C.K" started rapping at the young age of 5. He was heavily influenced by his father, the groups manager Haslyn Sr. aka "KAOS", who was a popular local Hip Hop figure in the 90s.  Jalen Daniel Kent-Rivers (18) also known by many names including his alter egos of "J-Starr and YEZI" and his official stage name of "JR.THE PRINCE" started writing at 9, and never looked back since.  He began recording heavily in middle school and performing at local talent shows and open mics becoming known as the best rapper in his school.  Yuck and JR always tell the story about how in 9th grade they became a group after a series of heated rap battles due to prove who was the best MC around.  Originally the group was just the two of these artist, but after doing a track with Kendrick Jerel Harris (19),also known by his stage name "Young KJ",  and recording in his basement the group WRITERS BLOCK formed.  This Hi Skool ChronicKills mixtape was a long project they recorded for the past 2 years and is basically a recap of the encounters of their High School life, their Prince Georges County background, and them looking back on how this dynasty started. Alot of the songs are from when they were 16 and 17.  This tape also features many other artist such as Leticia aka GemNeye, Brea Wingbush, Tone from House of Paradise, and their street team "PaperBoys" who are some members of the independent Planet Kaos Entertainment record label.

Listen to this joint below on your CPU, iPhone, etc. Screenshot & post the picture on IG with the hashtags #WritersBlock #HiSkoolChronicKills #TheTrueAmazing and give us your feedback. Check out other Writer's Block music HERE & HERE. Show love on all the social networks, spread the word.

Top 5 Upcoming Rappers in the Game

                                                                    *No order.

1. Sir Michael Rocks
It's taking a little bit too long for him to really blow up. Everyone knows or has heard of The Cool Kids. He recently signed with Curren$y and the Jets so I'll give him another year to blow up. Besides the fly fits, Marriani (www.marriani.com) selling and the gold presidential Rolex, this guy can really rap.

2. A$AP Ant
He's one who could come out of the A$AP Mob and do big things. From Coke & White B*tches, Told Ya, and his verse on Bath Salt. You can clearly tell he's gonna do something big. New York is definitely gonna come strong within a year.

3. Flatbush Zombies
The most unique style out here. The whole squad does some real hippy drugs, except the producer Erick Arc Elliott (maybe), and you can hear it in the music. Of course you can tell by the name where there from but if you don't know, it's Flatbush Brooklyn. I can't really speak for their music though, if you listen, you're a fan automatically.

4. Bodega BAMZ
New York again. Seen Bodega perform live, he killed it. So I had to go back to the crib and listen to everything he had. He is a Dominican rapper that's killing everything. He's involved with the A$AP Mob, Pro Era and recently linked up with Alchemist. His mixtape was supposed to drop on 9/25 but no one has heard anything from him.

5. Fat Trel & SB
DC's own. Fat Trel has recently blown up significantly. Him going a The Smoker's Tour this past summer was a big move for him. People outside the area actually know his name now. The whole DC 1135 is going to do big things. Linking up with Chief Keef was also a big move. Dew Baby recently dropped his tape "Dew Jack City" that impressed everyone. Give them a year to take over.
